The Economic Adviser Talent of the Year

​Tuesday 3 December, the finals for the Economic Adviser Talent of the Year will be held, where nine teams from the country’s upper secondary schools are to compete to become the Economic Adviser Talent of the Year.

The nine teams have already been through the first round, where they were to answer 10 questions about economics online.

On Tuesday, the teams will meet for the finals in the House of the Financial Sector, where they will continue to the second session and answer 20 questions about economics and solve a group task which they are to present to the judges.
                                       
The judges are:
 
  • Senior Economic Adviser Hans Jørgen Whitta-Jacobsen, the Financial Council
  • Professor Per Kongshøj Madsen, Aalborg University
  • Deputy Chief Executive Caroline Mogensen, Danish Bankers Association
The competition was initiated to celebrate the Economic Adviser Game’s 20 year jubilee.

The Economic Adviser Game is the Danish Bankers Association’s national economic game which gives students easy access to complicated relations between financial politics and economic goals. The Economic Adviser Game’s figures originate from the models ADAM and Heimdahl.
 
The Economic Adviser Game is used in the country’s upper secondary schools in social science and international economics, and in 2013, 93,819 users have visited the website.
