19 October 2015

Press release

The Danish Bankers Association has hired Mads Rørvig as Head of Public Relations, a newly created department, as of 1 November. The appointment is part of a renewal process that the Danish Bankers Association is currently undergoing. Until the general election in June Mads Rørvig was a member of the Danish parliament for the Liberal Party (Venstre) and chairman of the parliament’s Fiscal Affairs Committee. He has also previously been employed in the financial sector.

“Mads Rørvig will elevate and develop the Danish Bankers Association’s representation of interests with his experience in political work at Christiansborg. I am delighted to have Mads on board as part of the new team and I look forward to working together,” said Ulrik Nødgaard, Chief Executive Officer at the Danish Bankers Association.

”I’m looking forward to new challenges at the Danish Bankers Association. My new job will require my full focus and I will, therefore, not be continuing as a parliamentary candidate,” Mads Rørvig said.

Mads Rørvig will also be involved in the day-to-day running and management of the Danish Bankers Association.
