The Danish Bankers Association hires new Legal Executive Director

The Danish Bankers Association has hired Kenneth Joensen as Legal Executive Director. The appointment is part of a renewal process that the Danish Bankers Association is currently undergoing. Kenneth Joensen is 42 years old and comes from ATP, where he has worked as Chief Legal Counsel for the past 3 ½ years. He has previously been employed in the Danish Ministry of Justice

“Kenneth Joensen is a talented legal consultant with experience from the financial sector and a well-developed understanding of politics. I am delighted that Kenneth has agreed to become a central part of the Danish Bankers Association and I look forward to working together,” said Ulrik Nødgaard, Chief Executive Officer at the Danish Bankers Association.

“The Danish Bankers Association is currently undergoing an exciting renewal process and I’m looking forward to being part of the team and contributing to the Legal Department,” said Kenneth, who will start at the Danish Bankers Association on 1 December.
As Legal Executive Director, Kenneth Joensen will also be part of the Danish Bankers Association’s new management team.
