New figures for bank robberies

30 August 2016

New robbery statistics from the Danish Bankers Association show that Dan-ish banks were subjected to robberies 10 times during the first half of the year.
The robberies are spread out with six in the first quarter and four in second quarter of 2016, and there were double as many as in the first half of 2015.
The Danish Bankers Association and its members take robbery very serious-ly and are closely following the development.
Keeping the numbers low is essential, because robberies first and foremost affect the people who are involuntarily involved.
In spite of a small increase in robberies this year, robbery statistics are much better than just a few years ago. The historical development in bank robbery statistics can be seen here.
