The Danish Bankers Association hires new Executive Director and completes the management group

The Danish Bankers Association has hired Jakob Legård Jakobsen as Economic Executive Director. He is 45 years old and comes from a position as Branch Executive Officer at Nykredit.

“Jakob Legård Jakobsen is a talented economist with solid experience in the financial sector. I am absolutely delighted that Jakob, with his extensive knowledge of capital, risk management and regulation, will be part of the team at the Danish Bankers Association. Jakob is the final piece of the puzzle in the new management group, which will carry the Danish Bankers Association through the renewal process and strategy,” says the CEO of the Danish Bankers Association, Ulrik Nødgaard.

“I am looking forward to being part of the team at the Danish Bankers Association and contributing to the renewal process,” says Jakob Legård Jakobsen, who will start at the Danish Bankers Association on 1 May.
As Economic Executive Director, Jakob Legård Jakobsen will be part of the management team at the Danish Bankers Association.
