Share trading on the Stock Exchange

21 December 2012

The Danish Bankers Association has urged its members (commercial banks, savings banks and cooperative banks - in the following termed 'banks') as far as possible to offer retail customers access to share trading via the NASDAQ OMX trading system (formerly the Copenhagen Stock Exchange), one of the numerous available trading options.

Securities can be traded either through an automatic process in which the customer places an order with the trading system via a bank or by an agreement between bank and customer in which the bank places the order with the trading system.
